El fútbol no es un juego.

Adelaida: "Monolito" Reseña estreno en vivo.

Me cuesta mucho no hacerlo algo personal, pero haré una buena discresión de mis sentimientos esta vez.

El vivo de Adelaida... Es algo impresionante, mirar todo lo que han adherido estos seres en mezcla, superficie, iluminación, acústica. Estos chicos realmente saben lo que hacen.
Algo como "patá en la nuca". Mención especial el sonido del bajo, a cargo de Natalia, una mujer con los ojos de agua ...de colirio. En grabaciones y EP´s anteriores como Narval o el mismo Monolito que estuvieron presentando como disco este día en la batuta, no había notado tanto poder en el bajo, en la perilla perfecta, se siente más crunch, la polidireccionalidad que le da Natalia, sin desmerecer trabajos anteriores obviamente, le da un grado de autenticidad muy bello, por que no se pierde en sonar muy distinto a anteriores bajistas, pero también le da esa pizca de ella, ese crujido que me dejó zumbando horas y horas, pero ese agradable, no el que se suelen quejar los criticos de sofá. Esto habla mucho de su sencillez y humildad como artistas.

Omitiendo bastante info, cabe decir que esta noche de buenas rachas, estaban regalando jägermeister de la máquina. Un plus como bien dijo el viejo del video de la convención de armas.




Calentando válvulas:

Jure, esta es una de las personas que saben mantener el control de su guitarra derrapando por distintas zonas de contacto, la cuota plasmada de shoeggazer es de muy agradecer, el vocalista de Adelaida conoce su guitarra, conoce su cableado, se nota mucho ya que mantiene un grado de presición digna de sentimiento hasta en acoples y sonidos con chorus. También añado el hecho de lo bien que utiliza los delays y demás eqs de la voz, algo que muchos músicos desprecian, Claudio definitivamente la tiene clara a donde está cada perilla y conoce su voz, que pega bien fuerte como el jäger bien nublado de la máquina, siendo su caso desde lo nublado del puerto, me encanta esa sensación, la transmiten de una manera bastante fidenigna, incluso se siente muy bien una palabra que no existe, algo como "psicodelia-vida marítima-crudeza-nublado-fumar en la playa-nostalgia positiva-cambios sorpresa-belleza de lo siniestro. Y esa palabra damas, caballeros y seres libres es: Adelaida.

Gabriel es otro gran ejemplo de autenticidad, nunca había vivido en vivo como presiona la batería, y menos aún su desenvolvimiento en materia audiovisual, puesta en escena, etc. Menciono de partida dinosaurios de las ferias y comercios de los años noventa acá en chile, muñecos bastante kinderwhore al buen estilo y demáses decorando cada amplificador y rincón. Sabe cuanto viaja un sonido y cómo. Y por sobre todo su característica manera de tocar la batería, el swing, cómo le pega, combinado con la manera única de conectar su cuerpo tocando la percusión, armoniza la cabeza, espina dorsal, le pega de una forma diferente, y en efecto, nunca he visto otro batero que tenga esa forma de resonar con su realidad, bastante peculiar, si han visto algún video de esta banda sabrán a lo que digo, sobre todo si también ya lo han vivido en vivo. Cabe mencionar que lo poquito que lo conocí es un tipo bastante agradable para mi sintonía, siempre compartiendo con todos incluso estando absolutamente ocupado momentos previos a tocar. Es el cable umbilical de esta banda.

 

Desde mi burda perspectiva, no creo que le llegue a mucha gente esta excelente banda y eso le da un grado de especial y personal al contexto. Lo hace mucho más atractivo para la gente que nos encanta esta banda y la venimos escuchando en varias de sus fases, los pocos buscadores que conozco que ubican a estos genios porteños realmente están encantadísimos muy profundamente con esta banda. La vida es agua.







En mi forma de ser e interpretar expresiones, Adelaida es una banda perfecta y desde mi criterio este disco ya es de por sí el exitazo del año. Muchas puertas más se le van a abrir a esta gema, por eso aprovechen todas estas oportunidades y como les dije: Nunca paren de crear.

El vivo es la perfección, la consumación integral de todo lo que he sentido escuchándolos, y a su vez, congeniándolos con mi día a día, caben en cualquier ocasión. Adelaida es una banda única y muy característica, y a su vez en el buen sentido es un sonido y ritmo muy chileno, realmente se siente de donde vienen estas reberveraciones. Sono a la perfección y se superaron tocando en vivo, incluso algo que parecía inmejorable.

Subí videos de esta noche como "12 días", "Frutos de otoño", "Lluvia", "Osea no mundial", "Nada", y algún que otro regalito que pecaré de reservarme para mi.





Espero verlos seguido y nunca parar de seguir el rastro oscilante de su música tán hipnótica.

 Bajen más música cabros, apoyen a estas bandas que son unas verdaderas joyas, luego no se quejen que no hay música excusando que les da paja buscar, estas bandas están acá y están haciéndola constantemente
